In our program, we form cross-functional teams to build products. Our teams discover, build, learn, and grow fast.
The best way to solve a problem is to look at it from as many perspectives as possible. Cross-functional and diverse teams have different roles, cultural backgrounds, and professional and personal experiences. Teams comprise of:
Interaction Designers, who understand how users interact with technology. They focus on designing engaging interfaces with well-thought-out experiences.
Artificial Intelligence Engineers, who use algorithms to identify data patterns, build self-learning systems, automate repetitive work and take a product to a whole new level.
Software Engineers, who bring ideas to life through coding. They engineer systems that are usable, secure and scalable. They do amazing things that look like magic to others.
Product Managers, who are responsible for defining a product that solves discovered problems. They also drive decision-making and take care of the team's resources.
Product Marketing & Communication Managers, who are responsible for communicating the product’s value to the market. They know the product, the users, and how to generate interest in it.
In just three months all participants undergo a highly intensive experience. At DPS the aim is to help talents live the life of an agile team player while gaining the knowledge and confidence they would usually amass within one or two years working in the industry.
Our teams are placed within a progressive start-up environment where everyone is trained individually to boost their personal and professional skills. It is all about learning by doing: solving real-world problems through creating digital products.
DPS is all about working in an agile team. You will work in weekly iterations and proceed with your product every day. To gain this experience you will to be on-site and continuously interact with your team.
Every applicant who gets accepted will receive a scholarship of up to € 1,000 per month. You can find more about the scholarship in our FAQs.
Visit the various other programs of UnternehmerTUM, take part in our or other meetups and connect with Munich's start-up and tech scene.
Receive intense training in agile working methods and design-thinking techniques. Learn to evaluate user problems and to test and iterate your solutions.
Improve your soft skills by working in a diverse team and build your knowledge through coaching and workshops taught by internal and external experts.
Work on our modern and inspiring campus located in the center of Munich, one of the most liveable cities in the world.
Your product innovation journey follows a proven format from discovery to launch.
The team learns and uses best-practice to discover unknown user problems and mitigate the riskiest assumptions.
The team utilizes its diverse backgrounds to come up with innovative product ideas and validates them by methodically running experiments.
Once the experiments suggest to move forward with an idea, the team then builds a Minimal Viable Product in order to gain richer insights.
As an autonomous team, you will take over the responsibility and opportunity of solving a current challenge brought to us by an industry partner. They will trust you to bring a promissing idea to life.
